All actions taken by official members of the Global Ground Gathering are expected to follow the soul, the word, and the letter of Georgism, the economic philosophy.

It is understood by the GGG that civil and legal disobedience are at the core of our transformative existence, and that they are morally and ethically justified within the scope of striving towards Georgism, without committing any crimes against humanity.

STEERING COMMITTEE

Initial conditions for being part of it:

  • Swearing and pledging on the Constitutional Chart of the GGG.
  • Having fitting skills to gift for the creation, maintenance and optimization of the de-facto structure that will raise the GGG.

FINANCES

  • The plan is not for the founders to get rich off donations. Unless donors would explicitly decide for that specifically, which would be weird anyway.
  • To begin with, any member of the GGG, not just from the Steering Committee but literally anyone, will have the option to have their own transparent fundraising portal.
  • To anyone who wishes to contribute financially, this personal fundraising portal concept gives the possibility of choosing at each and any point in time, who specifically in the organization to most trust, via financial relief and empowerment.
  • The transparency of these completely optional fundraising portals does not mean any interference whatsoever with the privacy of anyone’s personal finances.
  • It will also be possible for the receivers of any donations to transparently reflow any portion of any donations back to the movement when they feel they don’t need more, and when they want to facilitate the flow of others, for example for specific actions.
